Human Aging Process

The human aging process is mainly due to the genes. There are more than 30000 to 40000 genes in the human cell. The aging is basically due to the loss of these genes when growing. Most of the genes are responsible for transferring the hereditary traits to the next generation.

Human Aging Process

Not all the genes are working at the correct moment of human life. There are genes that are responsible for the working of the liver in every human cell. But the liver cell alone utilizes the gene present. The cells that are present in other part of the human do not use the genes that are responsible for the liver function. In same manner most of the genes in the human body are not utilized. The destroying of the genes in the human cells occurs naturally and in some cases due to medical problems. This causes the age growth. The human aging is thus found to be due to damaging of the genes.
The gene repression i.e. the switching of genes causes the cell to maintain the number of genes so as to have a healthy living condition. The cell is capable of identifying the self gene and non-self gene. This helps in carrying out the process correctly without any problem. The gene loss though can be adjusted by the genes that are being produced, have a problem that the rate of gene growth and the rate at which gene dies are different. There are lots of genes dying every second, but only a proportion of that is renewed. This is the major cause for aging.
